You should see her in Salome from 1923 -- it was a, well, let's say interesting attempt to film Oscar Wilde's play about the dancer who insisted King Herod cut off John the Baptist's head. Nazimova was 42 playing a teenager, she's completely over-the-top and as a narrative, the movie doesn't work at all, but she has an undeniable presence on the screen. It was one of those experiments that I can't say really worked, but you can't take your eyes off her.
