I was gonna guess Oscar Levant, but that's a silly guess considering Hammerstein's first name was Oscar. If only someone had told me Hammerstein's first name was Oscar...then I would have known it! ;)

ReplyDeleteTurns out Oskar Homolka was nominated for one Oscar, as supporting actor in the 1948 movie I Remember Mama. Didn't win though.
