Silent Triple Feature Tonight On TCM

As part of this month's feature series, "Hollywood and Race: Arab Images On Film," Turner Classic Movies is showing three silent films tonight, The Sea Hawk (1924), The Thief of Bagdad (1924) and The Sheik (1921).

I've never seen the silent version of The Sea Hawk, but The Thief of Bagdad and The Sheik are must-see movies if you want to understand the silent era. The former is the best Douglas Fairbanks movie ever made, the latter established Rudolph Valentino as the greatest sex symbol of his generation.

I highly recommend both movies.
