  1. Intriguing idea, but when would it have been set? And since Nazis weren't part of the popular culture in the silent era (save for the beer hall putsch), who replaces them as the bad guys? The Kaiser?

  2. Yeah, I was thinking the Kaiser. There were boatloads of movies about World War I in the silent era, and the Kaiser and his men seemed to be popular villains.
