dis·si·dent
noun
a person who opposes official policy, especially that of an authoritarian state.
I see that Google agreed to set fire to the Reichstag call the Gulf of Mexico something other than what it is in order to appease the latest whims of the Toddler in Chief. But don't fret — we here at the Monkey will continue to live in the real world, at least until they drag us off to the gulag.
Apparently it doesn't take much to become a dissident these days ...
Maggie -- I promise I will track you down and catch up soon! I have been missing in action, off and on, these last six years -- cancer, recovery, a persistent brain fog that lasted almost three years. But I'm on my feet again and living a good life. Retired, but with a new circle of friends, traveling, etc.
Where did you go? Just when I started the old blog up again, you are mia. Hope you are well.
