Why Haven't I Been Blogging Recently?

Because, to quote the man, "I would prefer not to."



Actually, I've been busy writing, just not this blog, and I did adapt an old post for ClassicFlix.com at the behest of Ivan G. Shreve—better known as the author of Thrilling Days of Yesteryear, an indispensable blog about, among other things, the latest in classic television dvd releases. ClassicFlix is a site from which to rent or buy movies, ala Netflix without the sulfurous stench of greed and evil, and it is putting together an accompanying site chock full of good writing about classic movies. I think. Really, I'm not sure. When I find out for sure, I'll let you know.

But when Ivan asks, you say yes. At least I do.

What else? Starting on March 3rd is the third annual Favorite Classic Movie Actress Tournament. The Monkey is hosting the 1960s bracket this time around—I'll start highlighting the match-ups in a week or two.

In the meantime, I leave you with a few of my favorite things:

A Hot Bowl Of Bear Meat
