I was nearly done with a post about character actor Adolphe Menjou when I got sidetracked. And I will continue to be sidetracked for a while, chasing a side project that is now the project at the expense of all else, including eating and sleeping and all those other mundane activities that are apparently necessary to living ...
I'll just say I've written 51,000 words since March 13, not counting pages and pages of notes I haven't transcribed yet, and the thousand words I woke up with this morning that are still in my head ...
Otherwise, I am good. My life is good. Maggie, Muleboy, Rebecca, Mr. Berry, Bellotoot, Dom, Alex, Alice, Eric Beck, brothers, Susan, Alyssa, Jim, Janet, Bill, Ringo (hey, he might read my blog, you don't know), and everybody else who stops in from time to time, I hope your life is good.
I will return when the other thing is done.
In the meantime, remember: you only have one life to live and it starts ... now.
