While I'm working on another essay about René Clair's Le Million, here's a look at the nominees for best supporting actress of 1930-31:

Eventually I'll post photos of the supporting actor nominees, Clark Gable, Peter Lorre and Adolphe Menjou. The pic of Gable at least should make faithful reader lupner happy.
