A no-hitter's all well and good. But what about that song during the seventh-inning stretch? Was it really worth it to stay for the no-hitter, after sitting through that goddamned song?
["friends in low places," or some such drivel]
If you say it was worth it, study your reaction to the song:
On the contrary, I'd didn't think I'd look that happy about it.
LOATHE "Friends in Low Places." Loathe it. I'll bet you my old neighbor George Jones loathed it, too. Corporate country, as phony as a Hallmark greeting card, as authentic as a chicken McNugget.
You can fool all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time and you can apparently fool 60% of the crowd in Nats Park into eating unadulterated horse manure with the same gusto as a swarm of flies.

That's a key question. I, of course, can't swim, so I never have to face it. Say, haven't you anything better to do than to keep popping in here early every morning and asking a lot of fool questions?
