Beatles Advent Calendar At They May Be Parted

At the risk of distracting you from voting on the lastest Monkey movie poll (here), I wanted to tell you to check out the Beatles online advent calendar at They May Be Parted, my favorite blog not just about the Beatles but about anything.

For those of you who don't know, They May Be Parted is devoted to blogging in chronological order what are known as "the Nagra Tapes" — i.e., the Get Back sessions that led to the Beatles' famous concert on the roof and eventually the Let It Be album. For those of you who, like me, feel like Peter Jackson's 9-hour documentary Get Back skimped on the details, this is the blog for you!

Starting today (here), the advent calendar counts down the 25 days to the beginning of the Get Back sessions (January 2, 1969). Check it out!
