While I'm sure everybody here is aware of her Oscar-winning turn in Gone with the Wind, maybe some don't know that Hattie McDaniel spent her youth singing as a band vocalist. Here's a taste from Jean Harlow's last movie, Saratoga.She shows up at the 2:35 mark.
